About the movie

In the third and final film in Robert Rodriguez’s Mexico trilogy, Johnny Depp plays a supporting role as corrupt CIA Agent Sheldon Sands. Sands recruits the protagonist of the series, El Mariarchi (Antonio Banderas), to kill Mexican drug lord Armando Barillo (Willem Dafoe) and El simultaneously seeks revenge on a Mexican general for the death of his beloved Carolina (Salema Hayek). Mickey Rourke, Eva Mendes, Enrique Iglesias and Danny Trejo also feature in this bloody action/thriller.
