Trejo the Machete Man
Adding to the recent interviews with Robert and Danny, Total Film has a few extra blurbs from the set of Nimrod Antal’s Predators, with Danny Trejo explaining a bit more about the origins of Machete, which is currently in post-production.
Trejo: “Everybody thinks that Machete came out of a trailer, but it didn’t. Robert told me that he wanted to do this movie called Machete when we were doing Desperado. If you look at the character in Machete, it is a metamorphosis. He kind of molded this character of Machete.”
